Foam-cutting tools for model-making ranges.

A useful foam-cutting brief starts with the material and the shapes to be made. Astra supports OEM / ODM discussions for handheld heating tools, with the KSF-110 USB 3-in-1 foam cutter as a reference configuration.

Match the tip to the task

A hot wire, an engraver tip and a long cutting tip give a kit different ways to approach a model. Identify which operations the customer needs and supply sample shapes. Tip count should follow the task rather than being the sole basis for a purchasing decision.

Define the complete kit

Specify the tool, tip assortment, stand, cable, power-source requirements, storage and instructions. For KSF-110, the catalog lists 5W / 5V DC and two holding positions. It does not provide a universal material compatibility or thickness guarantee.

Approve material-specific samples

Provide the exact foam material and thickness for evaluation. Review the resulting cut, handling and proposed instructions with your team. Branding, packaging and Vietnam production arrangements are then confirmed for the selected configuration.
