Be precise about “USB powered”

KSG-505 is described in the catalog as a 5W / 5V DC USB-powered glue gun. This does not mean it contains a rechargeable battery. If cordless use is a requirement, raise it as a separate design requirement rather than relabeling a USB-powered reference product. Confirm how the final user will supply power.

Choose the adhesive with the application

Describe the materials to be joined and the intended craft task. Request confirmation of the glue-stick dimensions and suitable formulation for the selected tool and use. Have your sample review cover the actual tool-and-adhesive combination. An attractive tool image alone cannot establish the result on your material.

Make nozzle choices meaningful

The KSG-505 reference configuration lists different tip opening sizes and a small wrench for changing tips. Decide which opening belongs in the standard kit and whether alternatives are needed. Evaluate handling and the application result on samples; do not publish an output rate, temperature or warm-up time that has not been confirmed for your configuration.

Write the complete contents list

The catalog lists three clear mini glue sticks, but the commercial kit must be agreed in the quotation. A useful contents list identifies every included accessory and every item the customer must provide.

  • Gun and selected tip configuration
  • Cable and any included power source
  • Glue-stick specification and quantity
  • Tip-changing accessory, if included
  • Instructions, branding, packaging and refill packs

Approve artwork against the approved sample

Check that the model, power format, supplied accessories and application claims match the agreed configuration. Keep the packaging revision with the sample approval record. If a component or kit item changes, review whether the image, contents list or instructions must change too.

Prepare the OEM enquiry

Send your target market, estimated quantity, proposed kit contents and desired logo or packaging changes. Ask Astra to confirm feasibility, documentation needs, sample arrangements and Vietnam production availability. Do not treat a reference image or catalog entry as confirmation of stock, pricing or lead time.
